Novapulse.care SMS Voicemail Status Policy

How we use one-time SMS to help you securely view voicemail status

This policy describes how Novapulse.care and our partner clinics use SMS (text messages) to provide you with the status of your voicemail requests.

Purpose of the Service

Our platform provides a voicemail management service for medical clinics. As part of this service, we offer patients the option to receive a one-time SMS notification to securely view the status of a voicemail they have left.

This message contains a secure One-Time Password (OTP) and a private link to a status page.

How to Opt-In (How You Give Consent)

To receive this one-time notification, you must provide explicit, audible consent when leaving your voicemail.

  1. When you call your clinic and reach the voicemail greeting, you will be given instructions on how to opt-in for an SMS status update.
  2. The greeting will instruct you to clearly state "I agree to receive text messages" (or a similar affirmative phrase) at the beginning of your message.
  3. Our system, or a clinic administrator, verifies this audible consent is present in the voicemail recording.

If this consent is verified, you will be sent one single SMS message with the OTP and status link for that specific voicemail.
